There's no lack of places to find stock photography these days. But, is there a lack of different places to look?

On one hand you have a few mega-agencies busy chasing each other to offer the latest, look-alike "brands". On the other, you have numerous Internet portals stuffed with the masses' photos. And all of them boast how many millions of photos they have, but does having millions of images really make your photo searches easier?

Welcome Picade. We think you'll enjoy working with a stock photo agency that's passionate about photography and offers a comprehensive, smartly edited collection of great images backed up with responsive, helpful customer service - just like stock photo agencies used to be.

Great Images
Great images come from skilled professionals. All of our photographers are vetted by highly discerning critics: other photographers! Only those who have a consistently excellent body of work are invited to join Picade.

Comprehensive
Picade photographers shoot the gamut - commercial, editorial, conceptual, photojournalism, fine art, etc. - and all the shades in between. And for those times when stock photos just won't do the job, many of our photographers are available for custom shoots and assignments.

Unique
Picade requires that twenty percent of a contributor's images be exclusive to the Agency. Many provide more than that. That means at least a quarter of our images won't be found anywhere else.

Smartly Edited
Sometimes, less is more. Who needs ten minor variations of the same scene? At Picade, similars are generally limited to three. For example, a horizontial, a vertical, and maybe one with more negative space for ad copy or a masthead.

Quality not Quantity
As we grow, experienced editors will keep the collection succinct. We don't envision offering more than a half million images at any time in the archive. But if you need to delve further, ask! Collectively, our photographers' individual files are deep.

Responsive Service
Our professionally staffed sales office has one mandate: help every customer that asks for assistance, whether with an image search, licensing question, billing issue, or arranging an assignment with one of our photographers. We strive to provide the best customer service you've ever experienced.
