Overview
Picade LLC is a virtual company owned by its very real photographers. It combines the expediency of the Internet with the knowledgeable and personal service of a traditional photo agency. Unlike the vast majority of photo outlets, distributors, resellers and corporations exploiting photography purely as a business commodity, we strive to balance the creativity of our craft with the image needs of a dynamic marketplace.

Picade is international. While our business is legally established in the U.S. state of Illinois, our growing roster of professional photographers spans the globe, currently residing in nine countries from New Zealand to the United Arab Emirates.

Picade is experienced. Some of our photographers have decades of experience having worked for major publishers such as Time Life in the heyday of photojournalism. Others work with top advertising agencies producing imagery for multinational corporations. Conversely, for a few of our younger photographers Picade is the first photo agency they've been associated with, bringing fresh ideas and vision with them.

Stock Photography
Work the way you want. If you prefer to do your own photo searches and license and download stock images online, our website is fully e-commerce capable. Or on the other hand, simply tell us what you're looking for and we'll do the research, send you a lightbox and negotiate a usage fee that fits your budget. Picade is about working with you in whatever manner best serves you.

Assignment & Commissioned Photography
Not every project's image requirements can be, or should be, fullfilled by stock photography. For those times when you need specific imagery, our photographers have the skill to deliver.
